STORY

Pigna Pine Tree

When nature falls silent in winter, the pine tree continues to retain its green. This is why, in the ancient world, the pine became one of the symbols of continuity, resilience, and unquenchable life. Pigna represents the most precious part of this power: the pine cone, which holds within it the life that will sprout in the future. In DOVIA mythology, Pigna is the ancient sign where starlight is sealed in the heart of the pine. According to legend, even when the darkness of winter descends, this light does not disappear; it is hidden not in the branches of the tree, but in the pine cone that protects new life. Because a pine cone does not carry an end, but a beginning that has yet to be born. The green layers of Pigna symbolize never-ending life, its dark tones symbolize the depth of time, the diamond at its center symbolizes protected starlight, and the pearl flowing downwards symbolizes the first pure light born after darkness. Pigna is a symbol of protection, continuity, abundance, and new beginnings. Because some powers grow not by shining, but by preserving the light they carry within.
