Enosis is a diamond-set snake design symbolizing two distinct forces intertwining to become a single, seamless whole. Handcrafted in 14K rose gold, the design comes to life with a total of 0.28 ct of diamonds, including 0.14 ct of G–VS–SI white diamonds, 0.13 ct of blue diamonds, and 0.02 ct of black diamonds. In ancient symbolism, the snake is one of the most powerful symbols of transformation, rebirth, and the continuity of life because it can shed its skin. In Enosis, instead of separating, two snakes wind along the same path, cross, and reunite. The resulting form, evoking eternity, represents two different forces complementing each other, unity born from separation, and an unbroken bond. In DOVIA mythology, Enosis carries the moment when starlight, after being divided into two separate parts, reunites on the same line of destiny. The white diamonds on the intertwined snakes symbolize clarity and light, the blue diamonds intuition and inner depth, and the black-diamond eyes protective power and determination. Every time the paths of the two snakes cross, their differences do not disappear; on the contrary, they complement each other to become a stronger whole.
STORY
Ophis
The snake is one of the oldest symbols in human history. From Mesopotamia to Anatolia, from Ancient Egypt to the civilizations of the Mediterranean, it has been regarded as a symbol of wisdom, transformation, protection, and the cycle of life. Its ability to shed its skin and renew itself has made it a symbol of rebirth and emerging stronger from change. In DOVIA mythology, Ophis is the star snake that guards the ancient knowledge left behind by civilizations. Its winding body represents the continuous flow of time, the stones represent light carried out of the darkness, and its silent, vigilant stance represents intuition and protective power. Ophis reminds us to embrace transformation without fear of leaving the past behind; to trust our intuition, and to move forward while preserving our own power.
