Nerissa is the diamond-set turtle of the Chelonia Collection, carrying the warm and ancient light of the collection at the center of its shell. An ancient symbol of patience, protection, and moving forward with strength through time, Nerissa is handcrafted in 14-karat rose gold. At the center of its round shell, a 0.11 ct cognac diamond is surrounded by 0.08 ct white diamonds in G color and VS–SI clarity, totaling 0.19 ct of diamonds. The warm tone of the cognac diamonds is associated with rootedness, resilience, courage, and the mature strength gained through life. The white diamonds shine like starlight around the shell, complementing the warmth of the cognac center with a clear and powerful brilliance. In DOVIA mythology, the turtle’s shell is not only a symbol of protection, but also of memory carried from the past, experience, and unchanging essence. The cognac diamonds at Nerissa’s center are the golden light of the fallen star sealed within this ancient shell.
STORY
Chelonia Turtle
Throughout history, the turtle has been seen as a symbol of longevity, patience, protection, and ancient wisdom. What makes it strong is not its slowness, but its ability to move forward without deviating from its own rhythm. Its shell is not merely a refuge, but an integral part of its being—an ancient armor that protects its center. In DOVIA mythology, Chelonia combines this ancient meaning with the light left by the fallen star. The star’s trace becomes a silent power hidden within the turtle’s shell, taking on the form of a talisman that carries time and finds its path not with haste, but with determination.
Chelonia represents those who can protect their own center amidst the noise of life, those who grow stronger with patience, and the spirit that knows how to shine with time. This collection portrays protection not as an external force, but as the resilience, balance, and ancient wisdom that a person carries within themselves.
