DORIS STARFISH GOLD DIAMOND EARRING

Doris Starfish is a powerful design that brings together the ancient serenity of the sea and the starfish symbol of rebirth through DOVIA’s language of light. Inspired by Doris, who in Greek mythology is associated with the abundance and vastness of the sea, the model represents transformation, inner strength, and the ability to shine anew at every beginning. The 0.40 Ct G-VS-SI diamonds set on 14K rose gold surround the starfish with light, while the 0.14 Ct ruby at the center gives the design a bold and vibrant focus. The 0.40 Ct citrine that completes the form enhances the design’s character, extending from the sea to the light with its warm golden tone. With a total stone weight of 0.94 Ct, Doris Starfish brings together the clear sparkle of diamonds, the depth of ruby, and the warmth of citrine in a single sculptural form. Doris Starfish is a symbol for those who find their light again, even in the depths of the sea.

STORY

Starfish

In ancient tales, stars were celestial signs that showed the way to those who lost their path in the darkness. The sea, meanwhile, was a world of the unknown, transformation, and rebirth. The Starfish is a symbol born where these two realms meet; it reminds us that a light belonging to the sky can exist even at the deepest point of the sea. The greatest secret of the starfish is its ability to make whole what it has lost. Therefore, it is not only a symbol of beauty, but also of renewal, resilience, and second beginnings. Losing a part of itself is not its end. On the contrary, that is exactly where it will be reborn. At DOVIA, the Starfish represents a person’s ability to return to their own light. No matter how much life changes, no matter how far one is swept away, a light remains within that can find its way again. Because some stars do not only shine in the sky.
Some descend to the deepest depths, are reborn, and continue to carry their light there. The Starfish is a symbol of rebirth, inner direction, and light that is never lost.
