Handcrafted in 14K rose gold, Papalotl comes to life with a total of 0.98 ct of emerald and 0.16 ct of G-color, VS–SI clarity diamonds. Meaning “butterfly” in Nahuatl, Papalotl symbolizes the freedom that emerges after transformation, the renewal of the soul, and the journey of the self toward its true essence. The path from the darkness of the cocoon to the freedom of wings represents the threshold between the self left behind and the reborn soul. The deep green light of the emerald adds renewal, abundance, love, and the continuously budding power of life to the design. Sealed with the light of the DOVIA star, Papalotl is the symbol of the soul that discovers its strength and freedom anew by passing through transformation.
Story
Butterfly
The butterfly is a symbol of elegance, joy, longevity, and the celebration of life. The journey from the caterpillar’s earthly appetite to the silence of the cocoon, and from there to free wings, represents the transformation of one’s thoughts, habits, and self. The cocoon symbolizes the inner change in which old boundaries dissolve, while the butterfly symbolizes the natural, pure, and free expression of the soul. As a person discovers their true essence, they leave the weight of the past behind and fearlessly open their inner beauty to the world. The butterfly’s graceful dance tells of the awareness and freedom that follow transformation, and of embracing life with joy once again. Sealed with the light of the DOVIA star, Butterfly symbolizes the moment a person sets their inner beauty free.
