Pigna is a powerful DOVIA design inspired by the symbolism of the pine tree, which retains its green even in winter, representing continuity, resilience, and new beginnings. Drawing its form from malachite mined in rich green tones, the 0.03 Ct G-VS-SI diamond at the center of the design represents the starlight preserved in the heart of the pine in the Pigna story. The pearl cascading from below symbolizes the first pure light born after the darkness and a new beginning. The deep green of the malachite, the clear sparkle of the diamond, and the timeless elegance of the pearl come together to give Pigna both a strong and sophisticated character. Thanks to its 42 + 5 cm adjustable chain, Pigna adapts to different wearing lengths; it is a symbolic piece of jewelry that carries protection, continuity, abundance, and the life force hidden within.
STORY
Pigna Pine Tree
When nature falls silent in winter, the pine tree continues to retain its green. This is why, in the ancient world, the pine became one of the symbols of continuity, resilience, and unquenchable life. Pigna represents the most precious part of this power: the pine cone, which holds within it the life that will sprout in the future. In DOVIA mythology, Pigna is the ancient sign where starlight is sealed in the heart of the pine. According to legend, even when the darkness of winter descends, this light is not lost; it is hidden not in the branches of the tree, but in the pine cone that protects new life. Because a pine cone does not carry an end, but a beginning that has yet to be born. The green layers of Pigna symbolize life that never runs out, its dark tones the depth of time, the diamond at its center the preserved starlight, and the pearl cascading below the first pure light born after the darkness. Pigna is a symbol of protection, continuity, abundance, and new beginnings. Because some powers grow not by shining, but by preserving the light they carry within.
