Dione is a unique seahorse model that embodies the calm flow and quiet determination of the sea. Handcrafted in 14-karat rose gold, the design shines with approximately 0.15 ct of G-VS-SI white diamonds and 0.01 ct of black diamonds, totaling approximately 0.16 ct of diamonds, and comes to life with approximately 0.15 ct of amethyst. While the deep purple hue of amethyst symbolizes intuition, serenity, and inner balance, the diamonds add a star-like sparkle to Dione’s curved form. A reflection of Poseidon’s sacred hippocampi in ancient tales, the seahorse is a symbol of patience, devotion, and confidence in one’s own rhythm. In DOVIA mythology, Dione is the protective form that starlight takes in the depths of the sea, reminding us to move toward new beginnings with quiet courage.
STORY
Seahorse
In ancient tales of the sea, the seahorse was considered an elegant earthly reflection of Poseidon’s sacred hippocampi. Moving with the rhythm of the current rather than fighting the power of the waves, this small sea spirit symbolizes patience, protection, devotion, and quiet determination. Clinging to what it values with its curled tail, it always turns its head forward, reminding us that true strength lies not always in speed, but in waiting for the right moment. In DOVIA mythology, the seahorse is the most elegant form that starlight takes in the depths of the sea. It brings lucky encounters, new beginnings, and possibilities waiting to be discovered to the person who accompanies it on its journey. A protective seal of love, friendship, and sharing, this piece tells us that change does not always come with a storm, but sometimes with a calm and confident flow. The seahorse jewelry was designed to inspire you to trust your own rhythm, protect the bonds you cherish, and courageously open yourself to the new horizons life brings.
