OPHIS LADON GOLD DIAMOND NECKLACE

Ladon is a special two-snake design that combines the transformative power of Ophis with protection and an eternal bond. In Greek mythology, Ladon is the ancient dragon-serpent that guards the golden apples growing in the sacred garden of the Hesperides; it is a symbol of protecting what is precious and remaining loyal to it, rather than a treasure to be seized. The two snakes completing the heart shape represent two distinct forces meeting at the same center. Their heads facing each other symbolize commitment and mutual protection, while their bodies, seamlessly forming the heart, represent an endless bond. As in the ancient meaning of Ophis, the snake continuously renews itself by leaving its skin behind; instead of carrying its past, it draws strength from it and transforms into another form. Surrounded by approximately 0.36 Ct G-VS-SI Diamonds, the continuous light of the diamonds in Ladon creates a protective circle around the heart formed by the two snakes. In DOVIA mythology, Ladon is the form in which starlight is sealed around what is worthy of protection. It carries love not merely as an emotion, but as a bond that is protected, transformed, and strengthened through time. Ladon is the seal of eternal bond, loyalty, protection, transformation, and rebirth.

STORY

Ophis

The snake is one of the oldest symbols in human history. From Mesopotamia to Anatolia, from Ancient Egypt to the civilizations of the Mediterranean, it has been regarded as a symbol of wisdom, transformation, protection, and the cycle of life. Its renewal by leaving its skin behind has made it a symbol of rebirth and emerging stronger from change. In DOVIA mythology, Ophis is the star serpent that guards the ancient knowledge left behind by civilizations. Its winding body represents the continuous flow of time, the stones represent the light carried out of the darkness, and its silent, vigilant stance represents intuition and protective power. Ophis reminds us to transform without fear of leaving the past behind; to trust our intuition, and to move forward while preserving our own power.
