OPHIS SYROS GOLD DIAMOND NECKLACE

Crafted from 14K rose gold, the Syros design comes to life with 0.27 ct G-VS-SI white diamonds running along its body and 0.03 ct of emeralds in its eyes. The continuous sparkle of the diamonds from head to tail symbolizes the path the snake follows, while the emerald eyes represent intuition, awareness, and the power to see one's way even in the darkness. In ancient symbolism, the snake is one of the most powerful signs of renewal, transformation, intuition, and protection. Shedding its skin represents leaving behind the past and transitioning into a new self. Emeralds have been associated with life, rebirth, and wisdom throughout history; when combined with the snake figure, they further emphasize its instinctive power and protective character. In DOVIA mythology, Syros is an ancient snake that emerges from the depths of the earth to the surface and gathers fragments of starlight in its body. The white diamonds covering its body represent the luminous traces left behind from each transformation it undergoes, while its emerald eyes symbolize the ancient intuition it never loses throughout its journey. The curves of its rose gold body tell the story of the cycle of life continuing from the past into the future, while its raised head symbolizes the will to choose its own path rather than retreating in the face of change.

STORY

Ophis

The snake is one of the oldest symbols in human history. From Mesopotamia to Anatolia, from Ancient Egypt to the civilizations of the Mediterranean, it has been regarded as a symbol of wisdom, transformation, protection, and the cycle of life. Shedding its skin and renewing itself has turned it into a symbol of rebirth and emerging stronger from change. In DOVIA mythology, Ophis is the star snake that protects the ancient wisdom left behind by civilizations. Its winding body represents the continuous flow of time, the stones represent the light carried through the darkness, and its silent, vigilant stance represents intuition and protective power. Ophis reminds us to embrace transformation without fear of leaving the past behind, to trust our intuition, and to move forward while preserving our own power.
