POLARIS GOLD DIAMOND NECKLACE

Polaris draws inspiration from the North Star, the symbol of direction and the unchanging center in the sky. The 0.33 Ct G-VS-SI diamonds set on 14K Rose Gold create an intense light effect radiating outward from the center of the design. The layered star form of the model represents Polaris’s fixed position in the sky and its power as the center that guides the surrounding stars. The diamonds concentrated at the center symbolize a person’s own essence and inner compass, while the rays expanding outward symbolize the determination, clarity, and guiding light born from this center. Polaris is a symbol not so much of always knowing the way, but of never forgetting which direction you belong to. It reminds us to remain true to our own center, to keep our direction even in the dark, and to guide the way with our light.

STORY

Polaris Star

For centuries, sailors and travelers searched the night sky for a single star to find their way: Polaris, the North Star. While the stars in the sky appeared to revolve around it, Polaris remained an unchanging reference pointing north. Therefore, over time, it became a symbol not just of a star, but of direction, determination, and the ability to find your way again when lost. In DOVIA mythology, Polaris represents the unchanging center within a person. The star at the heart of the design symbolizes a person’s true direction and essence, while the layered light surrounding it symbolizes the power radiating from this center to the outside world. As the diamonds multiply around the center, they remind us how a single light can guide an entire sky. Polaris tells us that every path does not need to be known beforehand. Sometimes, all you need to move forward is to never forget which direction you belong to. Because all stars give light; Polaris gives direction.
