Ayla Smoky, a more mysterious and powerful interpretation of the Libellia Collection, represents the weights that must be left behind during transformation. Handcrafted in 14K rose gold, the design is completed with a 0.19 ct Smoky Topaz and a 0.02 ct G-VS–SI diamond. While the smoky tones of the Smoky Topaz lend depth, resilience, and a strong character to the dragonfly’s wings, the diamonds symbolize the unchanging light within the darkness. In DOVIA mythology, the dragonfly is the symbol of transformation, shedding the burdens of the past to reach the sky. Ayla Smoky tells the story of shedding excess, reclaiming one’s own strength, and moving forward with a more resilient self after change.
STORY
Libellia Dragonfly
Throughout history, the dragonfly has been seen as a symbol of transformation, rebirth, spiritual clarity, and the lightness of life. Beginning its life in the depths of the water and continuing it in the sky, this unique creature tells us that change does not distance us from our essence; on the contrary, it carries us toward a freer and stronger state. In DOVIA mythology, Libellia combines this ancient meaning with the transformative power of starlight. Its four wings represent balance and freedom, while the diamond’s sparkle symbolizes the soul’s unquenchable essence. Libellia reminds the one who wears it that within every transformation lies a new beginning and the power to reconnect with their own light.
