Dero is a special DOVIA design that brings together the infinity of the sea with the power of the starfish to be reborn. The 0.21 Ct G-VS-SI diamonds set on 14K rose gold create a pure light around the form, while the 0.10 Ct blue topaz brings the clarity and calm power of the sea to the center of the design. Light blue tones give Dero a fresh, balanced, and timeless expression. The balance between the warm tone of rose gold and the cool blue of blue topaz further highlights the character of the design, extending from the sea to the light. Dero reminds us of the presence of a light that does not lose its way even in the deepest waters. Dero Blue Topaz is the symbol of those who can return to their own calm after the storm has passed.
STORY
Starfish
In ancient tales, stars were celestial signs that showed the way to those who lost their way in the darkness. The sea, on the other hand, was the world of the unknown, transformation, and rebirth. The Starfish is a symbol born where these two worlds meet; it reminds us that a light belonging to the sky can exist even at the deepest point of the sea. The greatest secret of the starfish is its ability to complete what it has lost. Therefore, it is not only a symbol of beauty, but also of renewal, resilience, and second beginnings. Losing a part of it is not its end. On the contrary, that is exactly where it will be reborn. At DOVIA, the Starfish represents a person's ability to return to their own light. No matter how much life changes, no matter how far one is swept away, there remains a light within a person that can find its way again. Because some stars do not only shine in the sky.
Some descend to the deepest depths, are reborn, and continue to carry their light there. The Starfish is the symbol of rebirth, inner direction, and light that is never lost.
