Handcrafted in 14K rose gold, Ishtar Star transforms the ancient eight-pointed Star of Ishtar into a powerful celestial form with the deep and striking brilliance of a 0.09 Ct blue diamond. As the most magnificent interpretation of the collection, the L size makes the rays radiating from the center more pronounced, while the blue diamonds give the design a mysterious and captivating character reminiscent of the night sky. In ancient Mesopotamia, Ishtar’s eight-rayed star was a symbol of love, desire, beauty, and power. Identified with Venus, Ishtar represented the light that reappears after darkness as both the morning and evening star. Her journey into the underworld and subsequent ascent turned her star into a symbol not only of beauty, but also of transformation, rebirth, and humanity rediscovering its own power. DOVIA’s Ishtar Star L blue diamond further brings out the celestial dimension of this ancient star; symbolizing depth, freedom, intuition, and the light that finds its way even in the darkness. Its eight rays represent love, attraction, inner power, and ascent. Ishtar Star tells a story not merely of carrying beauty, but of being the source of one’s own light and attraction.
STORY
Ishtar Star
In ancient Mesopotamia, Ishtar’s eight-rayed star was one of the most powerful symbols of love, desire, beauty, and power. Identified with Venus in the sky, Ishtar represented the light that reappears after darkness as both the morning and evening star. Ishtar’s story is not only about beauty, but also about rebirth. Descending into the underworld, she leaves her splendor behind, reaches the deepest point of darkness, and finally rises again. This is why her star is a symbol of rising again after a fall, remembering one’s own power, and recreating one’s light. DOVIA’s Ishtar Star design brings this ancient symbol into the present day. Its eight rays symbolize love, attraction, transformation, and inner power. Ishtar Star tells a story not merely of carrying beauty, but of being its source.
