Moving silently through the depths of the sea, the octopus is one of nature's most fascinating creatures, not only for its extraordinary form but also for its intelligence, intuition, and ability to adapt to changing conditions. Eledone is a DOVIA design that carries this power in its eight curved arms, uniting movement and elegance in a single form. The 0.33 Ct G-VS-SI diamonds spread across the surface of the 14K rose gold model create a continuous brilliance reminiscent of light refracted underwater, while the 0.05 Ct amethyst in its eyes represents intuition, awareness, and the power to perceive beyond the visible. The eight arms extending in different directions symbolize the various paths life offers and the ability to find a new way in any circumstance. In DOVIA mythology, Eledone is the form that starlight takes at the deepest point of the sea; it is the symbol of the spirit that adapts to change, finds its way through intuition, and never loses its center, no matter which direction it moves.
STORY
Eledone
Taking its name from the Ancient Greek word for octopus, Eledone represents one of the sea's most intelligent and mysterious creatures. Its eight arms extending in different directions while moving from a single center symbolize intelligence, harmony, intuition, and the power to preserve one's essence in the face of change. In DOVIA mythology, Eledone is the form that starlight takes in the depths of the sea. By distributing its light among its eight arms, it transforms each into a symbol of a different path and possibility. Its curved arms represent adaptation to change, the diamonds symbolize the inner light that is never lost even in darkness, and its colored eyes represent the power to perceive beyond the visible. Eledone is the symbol of moving forward without losing one's center, even when the path changes.
