Handcrafted in 14K rose gold, Ishtar Star transforms the ancient eight-pointed Star of Ishtar into a powerful celestial form with the deep and striking brilliance of a 0.14 Ct blue diamond. The XL size, the most magnificent interpretation of the series, makes the rays radiating from the center more pronounced, while the blue diamonds give the design a mysterious and enchanting character reminiscent of the night sky. In ancient Mesopotamia, Ishtar's eight-rayed star was a symbol of love, desire, beauty, and power. Identified with Venus, Ishtar represented the light reappearing after darkness as the morning and evening star. Her journey to the underworld and her resurgence turned her star into a symbol not only of beauty, but also of transformation, rebirth, and a person rediscovering their own power. DOVIA's Ishtar Star XL blue diamond brings out the celestial aspect of this ancient star even more powerfully; it symbolizes depth, freedom, intuition, and the light that finds its way even in the darkness. The eight rays represent love, attraction, inner power, and resurgence. Ishtar Star tells not only of carrying beauty, but of being the source of one's own light and attraction.
STORY
Ishtar Star
In ancient Mesopotamia, Ishtar's eight-rayed star was one of the most powerful symbols of love, desire, beauty, and power. Identified with Venus in the sky, Ishtar represented the light reappearing after darkness as the morning and evening star. Ishtar's story is not only about beauty, but also about rebirth. Descending into the underworld, she leaves her splendor behind, reaches the deepest point of darkness, and finally rises again. This is why her star is a symbol of rising again after a fall, remembering one's own power, and recreating one's light. DOVIA's Ishtar Star design brings this ancient symbol into our time. The eight rays symbolize love, attraction, transformation, and inner power. Ishtar Star tells not only of carrying beauty, but of being its source.
