Deryne is a unique seahorse model that embodies the silent power of the sea and the elegance within the flow. Handcrafted from 14-karat gold, the design comes to life with the bold and sophisticated sparkle of approximately 0.01 ct of white diamonds and 0.19 ct of black diamonds. The black diamonds add a striking brilliance to Deryne’s curved form, evoking the depth of the night, while the seahorse’s delicate yet steadfast posture symbolizes patience, devotion, and the strength to maintain one’s course in the face of change. In ancient mythology, the seahorse is considered an elegant reflection of Poseidon’s sacred Hippocampi. By maintaining its course without fighting the current, it serves as a reminder that true strength lies not always in speed, but in sensing the right moment and remaining true to one’s own rhythm. In DOVIA mythology, Deryne is the protective form that starlight takes in the depths of the sea. It is believed that the piece brings fortunate encounters, bonds strengthened by love, and paths leading to new possibilities to the person who carries it on their journey. Its curled tail represents holding fast to cherished bonds, while its forward-facing head symbolizes not losing one’s way in the face of change. Deryne is a celestial seal of the sea, designed to inspire you to trust the flow of life, protect the bonds you cherish, and move toward new horizons with quiet courage.
STORY
Seahorse
In ancient tales of the sea, the seahorse was considered an elegant reflection of Poseidon’s sacred Hippocampi on earth. Moving with the rhythm of the current rather than fighting the power of the waves, this small sea spirit symbolizes patience, protection, devotion, and quiet determination. With its curled tail, it holds fast to what is precious in life while always facing forward, reminding us that true strength lies not always in speed, but in waiting for the right moment. In DOVIA mythology, the seahorse is the most elegant form that starlight takes in the depths of the sea. It brings fortunate encounters, new beginnings, and possibilities waiting to be discovered to the person who carries it on their journey. A protective seal of love, friendship, and sharing, this piece tells us that change does not always come with a storm, but sometimes unfolds with a calm and confident flow. Your seahorse jewelry was designed to inspire you to trust your own rhythm, protect the bonds you cherish, and courageously open yourself to the new horizons life brings.
