Voluta originates from the volute form, one of the most distinctive features of ancient Ionic architecture. Carved into stone and passed down through civilizations for centuries, this spiral curve symbolizes the continuity of time, the preservation of knowledge, and the human journey toward one's own center throughout life. The curved form of Voluta is illuminated by the star-like brilliance of a total 0.25 ct G–VS–SI diamond, while the 0.09 ct sapphire at its center represents the preserved essence of the design. The deep blue of the sapphire is associated with wisdom, mental clarity, intuition, and inner sense of direction. In DOVIA mythology, diamonds symbolize the starlight illuminating the path toward the center, while the sapphire represents the ancient wisdom attained at the end of all movement. Voluta is the symbol of those who find their direction not outside, but within their own center.
Story
Volute
In ancient structures, the spiral was not merely a decorative line. This curve, repeated in the volutes of Ionic columns, evokes the return of movement to the center, the continuous flow of time, and the transmission of knowledge through generations. The spiral carved into stone is a silent trace left behind even as civilizations change. In DOVIA mythology, Voluta is the form in which this ancient architectural trace is resealed with starlight. The golden form, progressing from the outside toward the center, represents the human journey toward one's own essence throughout life. The diamonds surrounding it symbolize the stars illuminating the path, while the blue stone at its center represents the essence attained at the end of all movement. Voluta is the symbol of those who find their direction not outside, but within their own center.
