Deryne is a special seahorse model that embodies the silent power of the sea and the elegance within the flow. Handcrafted in 14-karat gold, the design comes to life with the clear sparkle of approximately 0.20 ct of white diamonds. While the diamonds add a star-like brilliance to Deryne’s curved form, the seahorse’s delicate yet steadfast posture symbolizes patience, devotion, and trust in change. In ancient mythology, the seahorse is an elegant reflection of Poseidon’s sacred sea creatures, the Hippocamps. Its ability to maintain its course by moving with the current rather than fighting it serves as a reminder that true strength lies not always in speed, but in sensing the right moment and remaining true to one’s own rhythm. In DOVIA mythology, Deryne is the protective form that starlight takes in the depths of the sea. It is believed to bring fortunate encounters, bonds strengthened by love, and paths to new possibilities to the person who accompanies it on their journey. Its curled tail represents holding fast to cherished bonds, while its forward-facing head symbolizes not losing one’s way in the face of change. Deryne is a celestial seal of the sea, designed to inspire you to trust the flow of life, protect the bonds you love, and move toward new horizons with quiet courage.
STORY
Seahorse
In ancient sea tales, the seahorse was considered an elegant earthly reflection of Poseidon’s sacred Hippocamps. Moving by reading the rhythm of the current rather than fighting the power of the waves, this small sea spirit is a symbol of patience, protection, devotion, and quiet determination. With its curled tail, it holds fast to what it values in life while always turning its head forward, reminding us that true strength sometimes lies not in speeding up, but in waiting for the right moment. In DOVIA mythology, the seahorse is the most elegant form that starlight takes in the depths of the sea. It brings fortunate encounters, new beginnings, and possibilities waiting to be discovered to the person who accompanies it on their journey. As a protective seal of love, friendship, and sharing, this piece tells us that change does not always come with a storm, but sometimes unfolds with a calm and confident flow. Your seahorse jewelry was designed to inspire you to trust your own rhythm, protect the bonds you love, and courageously open yourself to the new horizons life brings.
