Handcrafted from 14K rose gold, Papalotl comes to life with a total of 0.53 ct of citrine and 0.08 ct of G-color, VS–SI clarity diamonds. Meaning “butterfly” in Nahuatl, Papalotl symbolizes the freedom that emerges after transformation, the renewal of the soul, and the journey of self-transformation toward one’s true essence. The journey from the darkness of the cocoon to the freedom of flight represents the threshold between the self left behind and the newly reborn soul. The sun-like golden radiance of the citrine infuses the design with vitality, joy, abundance, and optimism. Sealed with the light of the DOVIA star, Papalotl is a symbol of the soul that passes through transformation to rediscover its strength and freedom.
Story
Butterfly
The butterfly is a symbol of elegance, joy, longevity, and the celebration of life. Its journey from the caterpillar’s earthly appetite to the silence of the cocoon, and finally to free wings, represents the transformation of one’s thoughts, habits, and sense of self. The cocoon symbolizes the inner change in which old boundaries dissolve, while the butterfly represents the natural, pure, and free expression of the soul. As one discovers their true essence, they leave the weight of the past behind and fearlessly reveal their inner beauty to the world. The butterfly’s graceful dance tells the story of the awareness and freedom that follow transformation, and the joyful embrace of life anew. Sealed with the light of the DOVIA star, Butterfly symbolizes the moment when one sets their inner beauty free.
