CHELONIA NERISSA TURTLE GOLD BLUE DIAMOND NECKLACE

Nerissa is the diamond-set turtle of the Chelonia Collection, gathering the light at the center of its shell. An ancient symbol of patience, protection, and moving forward without losing one’s center, Nerissa is handcrafted in 14-karat rose gold. At the center of its round shell, a 0.11 ct blue diamond is surrounded by 0.08 ct white diamonds in G color and VS–SI clarity, totaling 0.19 ct of diamonds. The deep tone of the blue diamonds is associated with mental clarity, intuitive navigation, and an inner serenity protected from change. The white diamonds shine like starlight around the shell, making the depth of the blue center more pronounced and visible. In DOVIA mythology, the turtle’s shell is not a refuge from the outside world, but an ancient armor that protects one’s memory, essence, and direction. The blue diamonds at Nerissa’s center are the light of the fallen star, which descended to the deepest point of the sea, sealed within this protective shell.

STORY

Chelonia Turtle

Throughout history, the turtle has been seen as a symbol of longevity, patience, protection, and ancient wisdom. What makes it strong is not its slowness, but its ability to move forward without deviating from its own rhythm. Its shell is not merely a refuge, but an integral part of its being—an ancient armor that protects its center. In DOVIA mythology, Chelonia combines this ancient meaning with the light remaining from the fallen star. The star’s trace becomes a silent power hidden within the turtle’s shell, transforming it into a talisman that carries time and finds its way not with haste, but with determination.

Chelonia represents those who can preserve their center amidst the noise of life, those who grow stronger through patience, and the spirit that knows how to shine with time. This collection portrays protection not as an external force, but as the resilience, balance, and ancient wisdom that each person carries within themselves.
